Sneak peek from yesterday’s engagement session with Mai & David in Napa Valley. They are my October 2016 bride and groom and I cannot be happier with the result from our engagement session. Aren’t they the most handsome couple?
I had plans to go to 2 wineries to take photos. The first one that we went to, I barely pulled out my professional camera and fixed her hair before we got kicked out. LOL.. It was so fast that it was still unbelievable to us even after it happened. So lesson learned: Make sure you check with the wineries first before you go take engagement photos there.
The good news though, is that I already have 3 other places in mind that we can go to. Our first stop was literally on the side of the road where the “Welcome to Napa Valley” sign stood. My vision was of a couple holding hands and walking side-by-side in the middle of the rows of grapevines.
Since I went wine tasting that morning at the Mondavi Winery, I suggested that we stopped by there for pictures as well since the ground is beautiful!!!! What good timing we had because we had the best lighting while we were there.
Lastly, we stopped by the Castle a.k.a. Castello di Amorosa for the last set of photos. It was nice all day but once we got here, it got really cold. Mai changed into the prettiest black dress. Poor thing she was so brave and fought through the cold so we can get the prettiest photos.
