Yesterday, Henry and I had the opportunity to photograph Amber & Thong’s wedding. Thong is my cousin. Amber contacted me a year ago when they set the date. Since we were going to fly back for their wedding anyway, it was an honor that they chose us to capture their once-in-a-lifetime event.
To be honest, I was very hesitant at first because I thought they chose me out of obligation (since I was the cousin). That was until Amber showed me the list of comparisons she made between her 3 top photography choices. She had me as the top rated and most favorite in style and prices so that’s why she chose me. I felt so humbled and flattered and know that I will have to do my best to give them amazing images to remember their big day!
Their wedding took place at Hillard Mansion which is about 30 minutes outside of Jacksonville. It has a main house and a guest house. The main house was where the bride and groom got ready. It was these amazing steps where Uncle Walt walked Amber down so she can marry the love of her life.
Underneath a beautiful gazebo, underneath many luscious greeneries, underneath a beautiful blue sky, the bride and groom said their own vows.
Congratulations you guys! It was our pleasure to be there to witness your love and be able to give you these memories. We wish you a lifetime of happiness and bliss!Come back in 2 weeks to see the full wedding day post. We can’t wait to share more with you.
