This Saturday marks 2 weeks since Mychau and Channan said, “I DO!” in front of their family and friends at Morris Chapel at UOP in Stockton, CA. Every details about this wedding is JUST SO GORGEOUS!!! The lace on Mychau’s wedding dress, the beautiful pink and white flower bouquets, the pink bow ties for the groomsmen, the blush pink chaffon bridesmaid dresses, the personalized hangers, the bubble exit, the cupcake wedding cake, the personalized aisle runner. All the details came together to make this an exceptionally beautiful wedding day for this wonderful couple.
I am thrilled to share the highlight of their wedding day with you:
From the beginning to end, Mychau has always been so attentive to details. She knows what she wants and is willing to work to make it happen. For example, she really wants Sidney Le to do her bridal hair and make up so she didn’t mind getting up at 5AM on her wedding day to meet since Sidney is fully booked that morning. She spent hours making personalize hangers for four bridesmaids and coordinating with the florists to make sure these flowers are perfect!!!! (Which they are!)
They got ready at the University Waterfront Plaza Hotel which is a gorgeous upscale hotel in Downtown Stockton. In their courtyard filled with orange and black umbrellas, the beautiful couple had their first look.
A month and a half before the wedding, I found out that Channan’s Dad had a stroke. We weren’t sure at that time if the wedding can even happen as planned. As the wedding date gets closer, it was such a blessing to find out that the doctors are willing to release Channan’s Dad from the nursing home to attend his son’s wedding. To make the most of his Dad’s effort, we decided that it would be best that they take photos with Channan’s family before the ceremony in case his Dad get tired and had to leave early.
The wedding ceremony took place at Morris Chapel at the University of Pacific. Though a little dim and we weren’t allowed to use flash, the church is beautiful with walls and walls of stained glass.
You might not be able to tell but Channan was sooooo nervous at the ceremony. However, once he saw his beautiful bride, it was all smile from then on out.
Love this photo of Channan smiling as his wife-to-be approached the alter in her Dad’s arm.
The groom was so nervous he broke into sweat.
Wasn’t that the best wedding party ever?!?!? Even from the pictures, you can tell that everyone there was so happy to be there to celebrate their union. Congratulations, you guys! Henry and I are thrilled we got the opportunity to help capture the beginning of your happily ever after!
