This past Saturday, I had the honor of capturing Crystal & Marcos’ wedding ceremony that took place at her sister-in-law’s backyard. I met Crystal & Marcos 6 months ago when I took their family’s photos right before Christmas. C&M knew each other back in high school but like most people, they went their separate ways. It wasn’t until years later that faith brought them back into each other’s lives. By then, Marcos has a daughter named Cecilia and Crystal has a daughter named Alyssa. Together, they have a third daughter name Bri. So for their wedding, they have not just 1, 2 but 3 beautiful flower girls.
Marcos surprised Crystal with his proposal earlier this January. Instead of waiting until the end of this year to get married or even next year, Crystal said Marcos wanted to get married in May. So really, Crystal and her family & friends literally only had 4 months to plan this whole celebration event!!!! They went with a Western theme so haystacks were used for sitting at the ceremony area. There was mason jars hanging on the trees. Flower vases were placed inside boots after boots after boots. It also happens that Marcos’ sister has a stable on the property as well so we got to borrow one of her horses, Pandora, for some of the formal photos.
Marcos shaking hands with Crystal’s Dad before he gives her hand to his to be his wife.
Their FIRST kiss as husband & wife
I have to go cut the cake but first, let me take a selfie!
Marcos started smearing cake onto Crystal’s face and the next thing you know, they had their first “fight” as husband & wife. And it was oh-so-entertaining! They had cake all over their faces.
They fought and he grabbed her over to kiss & make up! It was HOT!
What a joyous day! My heart skips a beat still when I scroll through all the photos. They looked so happy and handsome and they were surrounded by so many people who were thrilled to see them united.
Crystal & Marcos want to thank everyone that came to help celebrate their special day. They also want to extend their special thanks to:
– The Natomas Farm (Dino Mcfee) for the jam
– River Valley Feed Store for the hay
– Lindsay’s Sweet Cakes, Dan Mohring horse shoes cake stand
– George Grippen for smoking the mean
– Colleen & friends service (Misty and Karen) at the bar
– Fran for cooking all the food
– Joan Hutchinson and everyone that helped out to make this an awesome ceremony.
